Recently, I contacted Motoneige Quebec Magazine. I wanted to pitch the idea of publishing an article I wrote. My story about Les Sentiers Coureurs des Bois (Wood Runner Trails) in the Upper Laurentian area of the Tourisme Laurentides Region. Riding the Wood Runner Loop became an amazing tale. So, I thought it deserved to reach as many Francophone readers as possible.

FCMQ Magazine

Motoneige Quebec Magazine is the official publication of La Fédération des Clubs de Motoneige du Québec (FCMQ). As such, it’s the foremost French language snowmobiling print publication in North America. So it’s the authoritative voice of organized snowmobiling in La Belle Province. What’s more, the magazine is the “bible” of all things sledding for our Francophone population.

I’m very appreciative of this unique magazine publishing my story in its December issue. And that its editor, Michel Garneau, is supportive of my efforts to promote riding on FCMQ trails.

Wood Runner Loop Innkeepers

In particular, I think all snowmobilers will benefit from the 2-page photo spread highlighting the pourvoiries (innkeepers or outftters) who work together to make this loop so memorable. The pics really provide a great impression of the rustic yet classy flavour that touring riders can expect to experience on this tour!

Motoneige Quebec Magazine: Pictures Are worth 1000 Words

So without further ado, the image above is what my article looks like in Motoneige Quebec Magazine. Click on it to enjoy the entire story if you read French. If not, then remember, pictures are worth a thousand words. So take a look at the photos – and then click here if you want to check it out in English!

Whether in French or English, the Wood Runner Loop in the Upper Laurentian area of the Tourisme Laurentides Region is not to be missed. For more info, links & contacts, check out my Western Quebec Snowmobile Planner!
