Looking for good March snowmobiling destinations? Winter may be toast where you are, especially if you reside in Southern Ontario or Quebec or bordering states. But typically, when snowmobiling shuts down in these regions, it’s still going strong in many other parts of Canada.

Yes, good snow conditions and outstanding riding opportunities can be found in places as diverse as the mountains of British Columbia, the highlands of Western Newfoundland & Cape Breton Island, and hill country of Northern New Brunswick.

I’ve snowmobiled in all of these incredible locations and can recommend each of them for your bucket list. However, if you’re like me what you’re probably looking for right now are March snowmobiling destinations you can trailer to for some great end of season trail riding.

So here are my five favourite March snowmobiling destinations in Central Canada. Each normally has good trail riding to late March or early April. This list (places named alphabetically) is primarily targeted to snowmobilers who reside in Ontario or Quebec and nearby states. Those who are willing to trailer that extra distance to find great snow and trails. So don’t park your snow machine…keep on riding!
